Mark originally hails from Zimbabwe and went to University in London. He studied Architecture but soon realized none of his drawings were ever for buildings that could stand. And a Life of media followed.

Mark was a DJ on BBC Radio 1 before sequingwaying into documentaries and finally Mark wrote and acted in the film DOG DOG EAT. Mark also created, wrote and acted in the TV show UNCUT FUNK on BBC2. Mark then wrote and directed his first feature HUSH which was nominated for a Best British Independent Film. Then Mark booked his first US based movie THE HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET starring JEN LAWRENCE. It opened at number 1 and went on to gross $66 million dollars.

Mark then went on the direct all 10 episodes of the SKY ONE show THE FIVE. Plus the pilot for PARANOID for ITV and SKY. Since then Mark has done a huge amount of TV including GOTHAM, to LUCIFER and CASTLE ROCK. Recently the episode of DR. WHO ‘ROSA’ Mark directed was nominated for a BAFTA. Mark is currently in post on the movie SPELL for PARAMOUNT pictures.
